 The Phil&Teds Promenade with the second seat double kit Uber-fashionable pushchair brand Phil&Teds has unveiled a new in-line tandem buggy called the Phil&Teds Promenade. The new pushchair features a seat that converts into a lie-flat bed, and will adapt to take one or two children.

Introducing the Phil&Teds PromenadeThe Promenade was unveiled at the Kind und Jungend trade fair in Cologne; it won't be on sale until 2012 and the price remains to be decided. It is a travel system pushchair that can be used with a seat or car seat in the main position and a second seat double kit attached above the back wheels. New buggy seat featuresThe seats on earlier Phil&Teds pushchairs have sometimes lacked sophistication, but this new release addresses some of those previous shortcomings. New seat features include:  Both Phil&Teds Promenade seats can convert to a lie flat bed - the main and double kit seats convert into lie-flat beds
- the main seat can face the parent or forwards
- the backrest of the main and double kit seats recline to three positions using just one hand
- the main seat has a three position adjustable foot rest
- the harness shoulder pads can be adjusted independently
- the main sunhood has a zip-out extension to keep the sun out of baby's eyes.
The pushchair also has an extendable sliding handle, dual front wheel suspension and a neat concertina fold mechanism.
